Graduation Portraits

Portraits for undergraduate seniors and masters student graduates are happening throughout the fall! Check your inbox for an email from Lauren Studios to schedule your portrait session. Feel free to reach out to ensian.um@umich.edu if you have any questions, or have not received any communication from Lauren Studios by the time school starts. 

Cap and Gown Sale

We will have cap and gown sale events in the Fall and Spring for graduating seniors. View details here, or look out for an email from us. We have the most affordable prices on campus!

The December 2025 cap and gown sale will take place Monday Dec 1st – Friday December 6th, and Monday December 8th & Tuesday December 9th. 

 

The Ensian is a historical publication.

The Michiganensian Yearbook has been published annually at the University of Michigan for over a century; our first edition was released in 1896. Our student-led staff compiles the major events from the school year covering a broad range of topics, including sports, student organizations, and campus culture.

How to Purchase Your Yearbook

Seniors 

Seniors may purchase for $80 if you reserve your copy at the time of booking your senior portrait appointment. Purchasing a yearbook with your senior portrait is the most affordable option. 

 

Sophomores & Juniors

Individual yearbooks may be purchased for $95 from our online store. The price will increase in the Spring, so buy early!

 

Freshmen

Freshmen are encouraged to purchase all four years of yearbooks in advance for $290 ($70.50 each). You save $90 and don’t have to worry about purchasing each year!

 

Cap and Gown Sale

The Ensian hosts an annual cap and gown sale to fundraise for our printing costs. We have the lowest prices on campus! Look out for emails from us throughout your grad year with more information on the sale.
